In 'Death Race to Cholera Bend!', Jonah Hex and a young doctor must evade bandits and the elements to get a satchel full of vials of medicine to a cholera infected place called Comanche Bend.

Overall this is an O.K. issue with it's greatest strength being the believable, period appropriate epidemic. The art and writing are both pretty good.

On the downside, the sound of gunfire is still conveyed with the sound effect "VIP!"; and the story contains two plot twists, both of which are pretty predictable.

Still, it's a cut above your average comic book Western.
