I agree that Mad Hatter needs to be revamped. He's got a cool mind but I can't take him too seriously by how he looks. It's probably why Hatter is never considered for Batman movies. Who in the real world even remotely looks like him?

Who in the real world even remotely looks like him? "I still think Phillip Semor Hoffman could play an updated or modernized version of him, and I'd like to see that reflected in the comics. I'm fine with him being short, but right now the character is cartoony short and the outfit is way too cheesy
I agree that he might need a bit of a revamp. The guy obviously like to touch little bonde haired children and call them Alice so why not drive that as his shall we say psychotic quirk. The name Mad Hatter should have a little more evil surrounding it and what's more evil then the lust for little children.
Hatter is a terribly underrated and intellectual caricature. Haven't picked the book up, but I wish he'd get more attention.

I like the idea of the series, and I've always like Mad Hatter, but that sounds prett disappointing
I think I shall skim it at the store and call it a day
