Review: Joker's Asylum II: Killer Croc 2

After escaping from Arkham Asylum, Killer Croc becomes the muscle for a low-level gangster and his wife.  The Good The simplistic nature of this one-shot's plot is something of a double-edged sword. Or maybe even tripled-edged, if that's possible. It's an enjoyable "told-in-one" that pleasantly reminds me of a good episode of the old Batman: The Animated Series or even a short from Tales from the Crypt (especially considering given the Cryptkeeper vibe the Joker a...

The Story: Killer Croc escapes from prison and finds himself injured and rescued by a man and his wife, who are a couple trying to reach through the ranks of the criminal underground within Gotham. Joker's Asylum II: Killer Croc (Beauty and The Beast) 0

This month, DC Comics has been treating us readers with one-shots of some of the most eccentric, and in this case, savage characters in Batman's Rogues Gallery, with a morbid, dark narrative from Joker himself. This issue is based on Waylon Jones, a.k.a. Killer Croc. I'll tell you, as far as one-shots go, this is as twisted in humor as Joker's Asylum II: The Riddler, but a complete 180 degree differential from the Harley Quinn one-shot. As that's out of the way, ladies and gentlemen, sit back, a...

The Mind of Waylon Jones 0

This brilliant tale starts with Joker telling the tale of Batman's most monstrous foe , Killer Croc. Killer Croc is trying to be "cured" of his illness which doesn't seem very possible because the man is like practically not a man ; he has animal like reasoning and rage ; as it shows him escape from his chains by biting his hands off. He kills the Arkham doctors and escapes. Batman arrives on the scene with Jim Gordon investigating. Killer Croc finds a young man who is seemingly a normal guy tha...
