I read The killing Joke arc and read that Joker made Batsy laugh... So..It must have been a hellova joke to make Mr. No expression laugh.. What was it?
Joker
Character » Joker appears in 4237 issues.
The Joker, Clown Prince of Crime, is Batman's arch-nemesis. An agent of chaos known for his malicious plots, wacky gadgets and insidious smile, he has caused Batman more suffering than any other villain he has ever faced. His origin, name, and true motivations remain a mystery.
So..What was the Joke?
See, there were these two guys in a lunatic asylum and one night they decide they don't like living in an asylum any more. They decide they’re going to escape!
So like they get up on to the roof, and there, just across the narrow gap, they see the rooftops of the town, stretching away in moon light stretching away to freedom. Now the first guy he jumps right across with no problem. But his friend, his friend daren't make the leap. Y'see he's afraid of falling
So then the first guy has an idea. He says "Hey! I have my flash light with me. I will shine it across the gap between the buildings. You can walk across the beam and join me." But, the second guy just shakes his head. He says "What do you think I am, crazy? You would turn it off when I was half way across."
Kinda funny but more just symbolic of Joker and the Batman. They're both crazy. Batman's on one side and he wants to help the Joker get there too but they can't because both of them are too crazy to figure out a way.
I think he does it once more, but it was at the Joker's expence rather than a joke he told. No suprise there.
