I added a comic to my Wanted list 2 months ago, but I've lost it, and have since been trying to find the comic title again. Does anybody know where this picture comes from? ( Don't reply if you don't know.) Thanks in advance!
Joker
Character » Joker appears in 4237 issues.
The Joker, Clown Prince of Crime, is Batman's arch-nemesis. An agent of chaos known for his malicious plots, wacky gadgets and insidious smile, he has caused Batman more suffering than any other villain he has ever faced. His origin, name, and true motivations remain a mystery.
Quick question! Where does this pic come from?
It's hard to say, since this is the largest copy of the page I can find; but the text in the white dialogue/narration boxes looks to be saying:
We've ----- ----- ----- of ------ -----.
Or the Joker is ------.
A--- ---- ---.
Last (laugh?)
And I can't read Joker's dialogue in the red dialogue bubbles, the red background is making it very hard.
I wish I knew, then I could submit a larger version of it. Judging by the art & colors, I'm gonna suggest limiting your search to the early & mid 90s & work your way down from there. It's from one I don't have, so I could only give you a long list of comics it's not from.
Huh; I replied to this yesterday, but apparently it didn't get through...?
Anyway; thanks again, that's what I thought; it was somewhere around the 90's, or at least, the very late 80's.
Same problem here; hundreds of comics, and that's ONE of the ones I don't own yet, so I only know what it already isn't from!

If the Unofficial DCUgide was still up, the bibliography there would have been real helpful. It's a mess trying to find chronological releases of a character here with the By-Date order in the comic releases because they go by title first no matter what.
Hey. I found a large scan of it on DeviantArt: http://www.comicvine.com/myvine/likalaruku/joker_by_odomirr/105-643098/?offset=1006
The only link to what book it might be from is here: http://www.thehutch.com/monitorduty/2007/08/alan-kistlers-profile-on-the-j-2.htmlbut the site refused toallow a highlighted cache search, so you'll have to read the whooooooole thing. You can also just ask this guy http://odomirr.deviantart.com/where he got the scan from.
Thank you VERY much; that essay quoted the narration dialogue from that comic page, and stated where it had originated from.
Thanks again for the first link of the large scan from DeviantArt; both options made my week =)
It's from "Nightwing 62" from 2001. It's a crossover with a piece of crap last laugh.
Spoiler: Joker falls into a vat of chowder.
