I for one am excited, the artwork by Lee Bermejo looks incredible. From what I can tell it really captures Gotham city's dark and gritty essence not to mention gothams inhabitants.


So I think the consensus is that riddler looks cracked out, but harls looks good:

Looks cool. Is it supposed to be in spirit of The Dark knight movie? Maybe they're fishing around for Batman Begins 3 with these more realistic looking interpretations of the villains.

I'm guessing this was an early sketch for the book?

It's pretty damn good. A totally different take on pretty much everyone. Harley's a stripper who says practically nothing (or nothing at all, can't remember) during the whole book. She doesn't adore Mr. J like usually and it seems Joker's actually the dependant one in the relationship (the crying witnessed by Frost is something that would never happen in the actual continuity).

The Riddler has some very nice tatoos.

I just bought a HC copy yesteday; so far, from in-depth reviews, it looks fantastic. The only iffy part I find with it is how he redesigned The Riddler as a pimp with a gimpy leg. =/ But that's just my two cents.

Im not digging the Riddler.....and I did like Harley with her clown outfit....

Good comic...picked it up the day it came out.I don't even like the Joker either.I'm more of a Harley Fan.

Harley being a stripper, Batman allowing the Joker to kill members of the underworld (it seems he turned a blind eye), Croc is a big negro man with no animalistic qualities, the Joker cries on Harley's lap, Harley's silent, Joker and Harl use drugs.. It's Otherworld all right."
