If the Joker was a lantern corps member which group would he a part of?
Oddly enough, he'd be a Green Lantern. He is completely unfettered by greed, fear, love, compassion, hope, or rage.
He'd be an impressive Green Lantern to say the least. However, i think the Sinestro corps would also have him.
He doesn't seek fear, greed, or hate he just wants everyone to be like him, though namely the Batman. One of the things you have to do in order to become any of the Lanterns is embrace the emotion. He has no fear so he can't be a Yellow Lantern. Joker is Willpower, he regularly fights a guy he knows he cannot beat and just takes the beating. Not only that but he has fought an Olympian God for control of his body and won! The guy is all willpower.
I'd have to say either a yellow or a green lantern. But I'm leaning towards yellow. He thrives on spreading fear in others.
The point is that he's not governed by any single emotion enough to belong to the respective Lantern Corps." @Croaker: Emotions does effect him, if he is angry he will kill someone or kill for no reason, I don't think he could be a Green Lantern because he kills without reason and one of his goals is to spread fear, greed, and hate. "
The point however, stands that he doesn't seek fear (not at least as his prime motivation). He would probably be a Green Lantern based on his feats of mental will, and determination to his cause of spreading chaos and insanity, and even simple murder. There may not seem like much determination in that, but when the one opposing you is Batman, it's sure tempting to take the route of compliance.
Did Joker take part in and of the Blackest Night or Brightest Day storyline?
As was explained during the Sinestro Corp Wars by Lyssa Drak, I believe, you must embrace your fears to use the Ring. The Joker has no fear as Scarecrow proved when his fear toxin failed to do crap to the Joker.
The Joker can only be green as it is the only one that requires no real emotion of which the Joker has none.
Green. The dude has complete control over his emotions it's insane.
You all seem to have forgotten one thing. A ring chooses its wielder. There is no way in heaven or hell that a green power ring would choose the Joker. A yellow power ring would not choose the Joker either because he is not committed to the ideal of fear. The only power ring that would choose the Joker is a black one.
He would be a Red Lantern.... and so would Harley.... sounds like someone should dress up like them for Cosplay!
If the Joker get his hands on a Power Ring - I get chills when I think about it! Because the ring's power is only limited to its wearer's imagination, it is often referred to as "the most powerful weapon in the universe." Imagine what the Joker could do with one. The incessant possibilities, all the maniacal things the Joker could conjure from his limitless imagination. Let's run through his past inventive weapons and conceptualize what they could become:
Um, I'll go against the grain here and go ahead and say with the revelation of its true nature, Joker would be part of the Indigo Tribe. In the DC Universe, Joker may well be the most heinous mortal in Earth's history. A psychopathic killer with his resume seems like a prime candidate for the sort of "rehab" that the indigo tribe provides.
That is so much less interesting than the others, though.
He would be part of the sinestro corps.
@speedforce23:You obviously did not read the thread. You have to be capable of feeling fear to use a yellow power ring.
@serpent222: He can't be Indigo, he doesn't understand the difference between good an evil. Even the Spectre can't touch him.
