Come on, Tomasi, really? I like the idea of a socially conscious hero with that much power. John was a really great people's hero, don't you think? And he can be one again if a writer wants him to be one. It's not like he would have to stop being an architect or a marine or anything.

agreed. as far as characterization goes, im missing the old days for most of the Earth Green Lanterns. these days, as far as im concerned, Johns military history isn't all that important anymore because all of the best aspects of the characters were pretty much covered by the social activism and architect parts of John.

First off, he looks queerer than a 2 dollar bill in that first pic. Secondly, "a certain urban ghetto"? REally?
