    Which writer had your favorite take on the character in the original Hellblazer series? Which take on the character do you prefer? For example, Ennis seemed to write him as more of an sob compared to say Jenkins so I lean toward the latter.

    I think what I liked most about Azzerello's run was that he showed John through the eyes of others throughout most of his series. He made John seem like this kind of supernatural force just as much as the demons he fought. Yet most of the villains in his series were other people. I was kind of nice to see John battle threats that weren't supernatural, I'd like to see more of it to be honest.

    The issue where he hired the hooker and played bingo was just brilliant.
