While defending a woman, John Carter is trapped by Klys and her Amazon cohorts who possess seductive powers over men.
Always the southern gentleman, John Carter fights to defend his new female friends from a horde of flying vampire creatures. On the brink of disaster, a door is opened and Carter enters a temple room of worship where scores of Amazonian women worship an idol surrounded by a pool of molten lava. John Carter is led to the altar where he is tied down and about to be offered as a sacrifice.
Meanwhile, Dejah Thoris teams up with Tars Tarkas to rescue her husband from the Amazonians. During the attempted rescue a flaming apparition appears in the alter, threatening to destroy everyone. Can Tars Tarkas and Dejah Thoris deliver deliver John Carter in time?
