So, do you like or dislike her, and with either answer, why?
Or perhaps you LOVE or HATE Jocasta?
Character » Jocasta appears in 439 issues.
Neither. I love Jocasta. The reason is I love robot/cyborg girls. Be that Jocasta, Agent Cheesecake, Annie (hey, I made that page?! Go Team Catpan!) Pris, Danger, Omega Sentinel, the Amalgam version of Jocasta (I made a silly 3d model!), Circuit Breaker, (3d model!) Quorra, Roll, Seven Of Nine, Rescue, Aphrodite IX and Aphrodite IV, ect. I'm not sure what the appeal is, particularly as my largest irrational psychological fear in real life is of animitronics? But it's there. If it beeps I love it. ^_^
Jocasta is great, I am a huge fan.
I appreciate how unassuming she is. I am also generally a sucker for non humanoid characters that end up exemplifying very human traits. She has been in some of my favorite Avengers stories as well, and her design is sleek but cool. Big fan of AI, related topics, I am a massive Alan Turing appreciator.

Thanks for the comment :D I agree, especially regarding your comment bolded.
My favorite moment, and I know this is sad and lowbrow of me, is the " Jocasta Slap " comeuppance moment, clear what was going on given Jocasta being programmed with Janet's memories. Not debating where Pym was at in that moment, or either, nor intending to inflame. I like his character and he is subject to only be written as he is by the writers that do, but it was really cool to see this acknowledgement finally made. Justice is served... (for those that want to write this off as coincidence, as I've seen that opinion, note that the poses are an identical mirror of each other in both images, as well as note in Jocasta's shot Hank is now "Wasp" by name, and the other characters exact commentary. Violence begets violence, justification doesn't abide the rule either, know this.)
@CATPANEXE: Oh that is Grand!!! I have read and own the issue where Hank hits Janet :(, but I didn't even know about the Joey Slap. I really need to read Her Mighty Avengers run!!!
Jocasta fans are in for a treat with tomorrow's Avengers Academy issue, it seems to be a Jocasta heavy issue!!

I have liked her at times but for the most part i think she i pretty pointless. If she was the key to stopping Ultron or something and had some descent powers then maybe she could become a good character but as of right now the only good character out of that family is Ultron.
She's pointless? What's the point of Spider-man? What's the point of Comic Books?
@fodigg: Good point, especially regarding the difference between her and Danger. The contrast is nice.

As in #26?? I am STILL yet to read it but it's the first book I will be getting next time I am at the Comic Book store.

I adore her.
:)
I'm curious-in as much as Janet van Dyne's brain patterns formed the basis for Jocasta's artificial mind( just as Hank Pym's and Simon Williams's respectively formed those of Ultron and the Vision's) doesn't that make Jocasta a" sister/daughter" of the Wasp in a sense though not perhaps legally( in Avengers #171, she notes how similar Jocasta's voice -albeit eerily robotic- to her own)?
