Built by Ultron to be his wife, Jocasta was given the Wasp's mind, but then warned the avengers and the brain waves were removed. She retained pices of the brain waves and is an honorary avenger.
Origin
Jocasta was created by the evil robot Ultron to be his partner. He based Jocasta's mind on that of Janet Van Dyne, the Wasp, who coincidentally was the wife of his creator, Hank Pym.
Originally Jocasta had been programmed to fight by Ultron's side. She eventually turned on Ultron and sided with the Avengers. She also ended up becoming a member of the team.
Later on, Jocasta placed her artificial intelligence into the computer mainframe in a mansion of Tony Stark's, the Avenger Iron Man. At this time, she would convey information directly to Iron Man during his battles.
