JLA # 119 - Crisis of Conscience part 5: Conclusion

Its a battle royal in the Batcave as Despero and those who are under his influence (Batman, Jonn and Aquaman) clash with the rest of the JLA. For a while it seems that Despero is going to overcome even Superman until Zatanna appears and magically calls the battle to a halt, preventing the JLAers from killing one another in the process.

A furious Batman's mood is not helped as Zatanna tells him "I made this mess..I'll clean it up!" and the Mistress of Magic teleports herself to the Watchtower where she once again makes the Secret Society of Super Villains forget they ever knew the Secret identities of the JLA. Batman tells the League to leave and Catwoman leaves of her own accord. The existing League members go their separate ways and seems like its down to Superman, John Stewart and the Martian Manhunter to recruit some new members. Just as Martian Manhunter is considering that very issue, the Watchtower comes under attack...
