From The Longbox : JLA #20

    SUMMARY:
In this issue Adam Strange enslaves the JLA. When they arrive on Rann, they find that he is working with an alien race called the En'Tarans.  Adam Strange has discovered that his wife did not die in childbirth, and he wants to return Rann to its former glory, when she was its Princess.  They also find that he has the entire planet of Rann in shackles to help the cause.
After a day of hard labor they are for some reason all being held in the same cell. There they help to get Orions temper under control. Flash lends Superman, Wonder Woman and Martian Manhunter some of his speed, and they use it to rush Adam Strange. However, when they get to him, they discover that Martian Manhunter is working with him, he started believing in Adam Stranges cause.

      Review:
Usually, the mere mention of Adam Strange is enough to put me to sleep. To tell the truth it was very hard to get into this book. Actually, it was very hard for me to believe this book. There is no fight or planning in the JLA, it seems they become docile enough to be enslaved, just because that is what the script calls for. While there is an entertainment factor, this story has not elevated beyond filler. Nor does it seem to be true to the characters. Adam Strange is a friend to the JLA, so you know something is going on, or he would have just asked for the help. In the end, it is not a book I can recommend.
