From The Longbox : JLA #12

    SUMMARY:
We join Green Lantern in mid travels. Thanks to Metron amping up the Watchtowers Teleporters, he is traveling from one dimension to the next, trying to find Flash and Aquaman again. He comes to a place called Wonderworld. There he meets, the Mote, a man who is able to shrink to the same size as Green Lantern. Because in Wonderworld, everything is bigger.
Back at the Villains Sattelite, we see Luthor staring at a monitor, thinking he killed Superman, this makes Joker a little upset since he joined so both he and Lex could kill their nemisis at the same time. Unbeknownst to Lex, Superman had absorbed all of the energy from the explosion except for the light. J'onn figures out that Lex has a telepath trying to block out their communications. They both dive into the Ocean and using the energy Superman absorbed from the blast, they launch a rock the size off the villains satelite into space. Then they agree to go meet Batman. Superman and J'onn come across Batman as he is hiring Mirror Master away from Lex Luthor.
Back with the Injustice Gang, Circe arrives on the sattelite with Green Arrow, he agrees to help take down the JLA, so long as no one gets hurt. Lex contacts Aztek, and he tells him that it was Lex Luthor who funded the building of the Aztek Armor. After he is done with his expanation, Lex sends over the Nucular weapons.
Superman and J'onn come across Batman as he is hiring Mirror Master away from Lex Luthor.
The lost trio of heroes, Flash, Green Lantern and Aquaman, have met the protectors of the Wonderworld, and its surrounding borders. They appeal to their good natures to help them find a way back home. Unfortunately, they find no compassion, and have to do it themselves. When they arrive back home, they are in the future. Apokalypse has found Lex Luthors Philosopors stone, and now rules over Earth

     REVIEW:
I think this is a case of 12 issues being packed into six, there is so much going on, I really had no stopping point when I was writing the summary.  Oddly enough, it carries pretty well, there is a rythm here, and once you get into it, it is smooth sailing. Except, in this case ... I think there may be a little shark jumping.
Obviously, the plot required Aquaman Green Lantern and The Flash to be removed from the timestream, it ends up being the set up for next issue, so we are sent to an incosequential world, that has no bearing on the story, or will ever show up in the DCU.  Not only that, but they do not even take any action to help the heroes, so what it ends up all being is a simple tour through a world, that is described to us, but we never really see.
Wow ... now that I think about it, you don't really need to much to tear this book apart. The sections with Superman and Martian Manhunter were pretty vague also. It seems to be a little deep into the storyline to have a set up issue. Which takes me back to my original statement. This is two stories crammed into one, and now we are going to be distracted from the Injustice Gang story, so we can visit an alternate reality where Darkseid gets his hands on The Philosopher Stone Lex has been hauling around.
This is a good case of ignore the trees for the forrest, do that and it is pretty exciting. If you can't , the story does fall apart.
