Jiara, Gillian and Jade befriend Conan at a Nemedian tavern.
Jiara and Jade become short term lovers of Conan but eventually run off with the merchant Jade with all of Conan's money. They even left him with a bar tab and hotel bill.
Conan eventually finds Jiara in Conan issue 19, The Crown of Tiamat. Conan puts her to a test to see if she will steal from him again, but she does not. Instead, she gets in a jealousy argument with Conan's current girlfriend Tianna. Tianna loses by getting eaten by some unknown creature.
As it turns out, it was Jiara's idea to steal initially from Conan. When she tried to take more than her fair share however, Gillian and Jade leave her.
