We still have no word on an actual release date. The speculation is the next Marvel Netflix show, Jessica Jones, will debut in December 2015. Marvel has released the logo for the show.

Does it tell us anything? Not really. The show will focus on Krysten Ritter as Jessica who is a former super-heroine who decides to reboot her life by becoming a private investigator.

The show will also feature David Tennant as Kilgrave, Rachael Taylor as Patsy Walker, and Mike Colter as Luke Cage.

Would have been nice if they put the effort in for recognizable typography like Daredevil and their other heroes have, but i guess just putting a mask over plan font works and only took 2 minutes.

Woo! A logo! And like everything else (admittedly, not much) released about this show, it's underwhelming.

Well she's really only been in Alias as her own title and I wouldn't call that recognizable. It's not like Jess has 70ish years of history like Daredevil with a history of a logo so I really don't see a problem in them taking liberty with it.

That being said I wouldn't have minded they went with the Alias font.

That is my point... Jessica doesn't have a logo so when they had a chance to give her one they just didn't. I wouldn't saying not doing something is taking liberty with it.

The problem with the alias title or the even the font is the connection people might mistake for the Jennifer Garner show.

Exactly.The could have been a little more creative.Like make it some flaming D's or something rather than the here comes Daredevil word.

Looking at it again I didn't realize they cut the letters cause the mask they have over it was a little distracting, so I guess I'm okay with it. It's kind of a weird choice since it kinda gives the impression she uses a sword or something with the letters sliced. I guess it's maybe meant to look lik broken glass? Like a cracked window. Since her name will probably be on a door window if she is a P.I.

You think the iconic Daredevil font is more generic then just some random Sans serif font with a clipping mask over it? >.<

For the comics I think it's cool but I was underwhelmed by this.That's just me though.It's simple and it works but I thought they could have been a bit more creative but whatever lol.

@daredevil21134: The daredevil logo is still custom font unlike the Jessica Jones logo. Adding a mask over font is literally as simple as changing the color.

I guess I just find the Jessica Jones one more enticing *shrugs*
