    My Heart Will Go On

Married mother of two by day, cold blooded killer by night.

The Good:  This book is definitely interesting, to say the least. While the concept of this tittle isn't really the most original idea out there, I really enjoy the balance between Jen's day and night life. My favorite part of this book is seeing exactly how Jen's mindset is. We get an internal monologue that in fact is her writing in her diary and it just works for me.

Art work wise, it's really gritty and dark. Although it is the same artist as the first issue, I like the artwork a lot more in this issue. However, it isn't nearly as good as I would want it to be in a book with so much blood and guts. Although the cover art is amazing.

The Bad: Now, I know this is a Garth Ennis title, and anything goes, it will be as outrageous as possible, but that first page was unnecessary. Sure it shows how much of a pig this man that Jen is after is, but come on. Sex sells I guess. One of my biggest complaints about this title is how weak the supporting cast is. One good example, the husband. He is pretty much useless and, not only do we see that, but Jen thinks the same, pretty much.

At the point where Jennifer Blood was about to kill her target, something is brought up and there's a small conversation where, somehow, this man know who she is. Apparently something went down in the past between them. This was completely glossed over. I would think it would be important to find out more about Jen's past but I guess not. Even after she kills him, Jen doesn't mention as to how or why she would know this man who is a crime lord of sorts. Hopefully it will be addressed in some way.

    All In All...
This was a decent issue. Nothing too terrible but nothing that makes me say that it is a must buy. I honestly don't know what to expect with this series, and that isn't necessarily a good thing here. Aside from Jennifer Blood, there aren't many other likable characters, and I even think the name she chose is kind of corny. Give this a try if you have a few extra dollars, if not, you're not missing anything too spectacular.
