What female celeb would make a good Jean Grey?(besides Fameeke J)

I think Fameeke wasn't a good Jean Grey, she didn't fit the character development that they had in the comics. Fameeke made Jean Grey weird and pyshco before she even turned into the Phoneix.

i thought that Famke did a good job with Jean apart from the third film where the Phoenix wasd a complete departure from what Brian Singer had in mind (see the end of X2). but as for another actress to play the part id say somebody like Kate Walsh for an older Jean (30's-40's)

Older Jean would be difficult(And Uncanny89, Jean is only 29, a year older then Emma)

But for younger Jean, I'd see Stacey Farber fitting.

but in the films they are able to do what ever they wanted so an older jean isnt off the cards really, just because a character in the books doesnt age doesnt mean they shouldnt age in the films

Dina Meyer. And please no one, don't come with that old tired line of "She played Barbara Gordon on the Birds of Prey TV series, so she can't play Phoenix." to rule her out as a choice.

Depends on the Jean they are going for...if they are going for the sweet nuturing Jean then i would go for Rachelle LeFevre (from the first Twilight movie and the first two episodes of The Deep End) or if they were going for the darker grittier Ultimate version i would love to see Danneel Harris (One Tree Hill and Harold & Kumar 2)

@StrangerXL: I loved Birds of Prey!! Dina Meyer would definitely make a passable Jean Grey (not like a young Jean or an old Jean, just regular normal age Jean) but she would need redder hair :) Famke's crappy non-red hair almost ruined the character on its own....

@Ms. Omega: I think this Penny Drake person looks like an awesome Phoenix...not necessarily Jean Grey

@Little_Miss_Kitty: I agree with you. I think alot of the choices above are stinky-poo (except for Emily Blunt, who's fabulous...but prolly not right for the part...maybe as Scarlet Witch or maybe Wasp in the Avengers movie) and I think Kristen, given the opportunity would be a good fit. I also think it doesn't hurt that she's got a huge following thanks to Twilight.

What does previous roles or jobs have to do with anything? You have only seen one picture of her and you claim she cannot be modest but pretty? Here are some other ones though I do not know why I am even entertaining someone with your level of maturity.

Yeah. I am not seeing slutty lesbian in those pictures. The Maxim picture shows that she can be that bad girl and just about every other picture of her shows that she can be the girl next door as well.

Ilsa Fisher?......not my #1 pick...but she's attractive and a good actress....

my favorite pick so far is Kelly Sweet (Stacey Farber's good too) for X-Men First Class...Stewart imo just doesn't look good enough (not saying she's ugly...it's just Jean's a model) plus Jean's character needs a more joyful feel

Scarlett Johansson would make would be my choice she has a somber and inner and outter beauty and wisdom contained in a young body, something youd expect from a young women who is gifted and slightly cursed with extreme telepathic abilities.
I have no idea why Famke Jansen was chosen as Jean, shes like a frost giant from sweden and both she and Hugh Jackman towered over James Marsdens (who is 5' 9" had to wear stilted shoes to match match Famkes 6'0", Gods honest truth) Scott Summers who is like 6'3" or 6'4", thats why he gets the nickname "slim". Oh, and Famke was like seriously too old for that part

Its decades too late, but Stephanie Powers looks more like Jean than any other actress ever. The way John Byrne rendered Jean during his stint on Uncanny
always made me think of Stephanie. Check out the Dark Phoenix Saga and maybe you'll see what I see. Jean and Stephanie; both classic beauties!
