@chasereis: what about this one......from x-factor
GET OUT ......LOL
ok it was bad in the middle and scott attacking emma in avx WTH ....who knew scott had a bad side, border line ant man
@The_Goddess_of_Chaos: Masterful. That was such a great story line. No one bothers to stick around long enough to REALLY set up a story like that anymore. To add some context to that for those who might not have read it, Scott was distraught and exhausted (in all respects) from trying to find his son (and Maddie). Hodge, Orphan Maker, Maddie and Sinister really worked him over using his own imagination and guilt. Absolutely masterful story telling back then, sigh...
Ooooh the 90's, when they were in love and Scott was drawn like a line backer and Jean was a bad ass (with the greatest boobs in comics), oh the memories.
@chasereis: Yeah. And people still blame Scott for all the crap that happened to Maddie and the whole Phoenix thing. They should have readd this story, so they could realize what really happened lol.
@fACEmelter88: Indeed.
@Avenger85: Since Maddie wasn't a real person (she was just amalgamated simulacrum of Jean) and even then people don't blame Sinister but Scott. It's true, as shallow a thought process as that is...Not to sound stoic in my comic reading habits, but clearly modern readers abhor buying back issue that is older than a year or not readily available. Collecting comics use to be an adventure but now it seems like most treat it only as a way of wasting time by reading then becoming the proverbial "arm chair critic".
@chasereis: In that case, some sort of synopsis or flashback scene should be provided for the current readers, so they can really get to know the backtory of the characters. You can't criticise a character without knowing both sides of the coin and the whole story etc. I think the writers are to be blamed for that lazyness., but nothing can be done about that now....
@chasereis: You mean it MADE you feel like they're paying attention, in those days lol.
These days I don't think the authors themselves pay alot of attention to the backstory, let alone the readers of the books...
I've always loved Scott and Jean together. They just worked and from day one (ok maybe day 2) they were madly in love with each other. I'm so disappointed that they killed Jean off right after making Scoot have a psychic affair. That never seemed right to me. He has always loved Jean with all his heart. They really just tore them apart because the writer at the time found the relationship boring. I always find true love and marriage relationships interesting but I guess I'm in the minority. I'm so glad you made this thread @hopesummersforthefuture. Thank you. This couple is seriously what made me fall in love with the X-Men. Powerful characters using their powers for good and falling in love with the heroic traits of each other. Two of my favorite X-Men. It's a shame they've taken Scott down such a dark path recently and even worse that the young versions from the past are being broken apart (even though that was when they were hopelessly in love with each other but couldn't admit it).
@time why is jean covering herself up from her husband??? why so modest
he all most looks like the old scott we know and love
@perfect_10@time another new cute moment. also i dont know where this is from
aww so cute: "i miss you Red"

Nice comments. I agree with you. Jean and Scot are one of the best X-Men couples of all time. Damn Marvel for breaking them up.
the grave yard pics reminds me of the old scott we know and love. :')
I'm hoping teen scott and teen jean can start over. Also jean liked older scott because he was easy to talk too. since she knows now they can never work, maybe she will site her sights at teen scott. Kitty warning old scott to leave jean alone, i know where kitty is coming from . kitty was a 13 year old in love with peter(18-ish) at the time and kitty knows how hard it is to wait for someone.
@time: the grave scene is from x-men alpha flight (1998 mini)
Oh thanks i thought it was from something more recent
I can't find a scan of it anywhere, but it's the moment from X-Men: First Class #2 - The Bird, The Beast And The Lizard where they're on the beach and she convinces him to let a huge blast loose into the water. ...Wait, that came out wrong!

From the Original X-Factor- Cameron Hodge starts screwing with Scott's mind about Phoenix when Jean walks in. And then after the first battle with Apocalypse they make up...and then make whoopy.
