Jean Grey is NOT in X-men: First Class Movie?

I heard a rumour that Jean isn't going to be in the First Class movie is it true?

They are basing the script on Singer's treatment unless they changed it, Singer was going to intro Jean joining the school and let the audience see the x world/school through her experience. But this first movie could intro the Magneto/Charles plot first and have Jean coming to the school at the end. They have said this is likely to be a trilogy and it looks like they are going off of the Wolverine/X-Men movies so Jean will appear sooner or later.

this just mad my day but i'm also pissed, never liked Jean ever since i watched the X-men animated series when i was a kid but the fact that their not keeping the original group in the films is stupid, this probably some crap being pulled by fox so that they call get the rights to more mutant names

Okay this movie will suck, no matter if Jean is in it or not. But how come Emma is in it? What is she Xaviers age? A grown woman plays her so shes not a kid in the movie. So yea thats confusing.

It is going to be a confusing movie, but if you know your stuff, I think most people will understand it.

Also, remember, Xavier took the school from Emma, so that is why she is most likey going to be an adult, but you are right in the matter of the age thing, I dont understand why she would be an adult. She is around the same age of Jean. That part I dont understand at all. I personally think they should have kept Jean, Storm, and Cyclops in it seeing that they were Xavier's first students.

I am not sure who is older, my GUESS would be Emma Frost, but not by much, I mean she was young enough to have an affair with Scott, so I am guessing that she isn't that much older than Jean, maybe a few months and year at the most, but I am not certain.

Most of the characters I found familiar I saw when Xavier was looking at all the mutants through Cerebro, is it a coincidence there was young girl with white hair, and a kid with conveniently placed sun glasses?
