I think Fameeke wasn't a good Jean Grey, she didn't fit the character development that they had in the comics. Fameeke made Jean Grey weird and pyshco before she even turned into the Phoneix.

I have no idea why Famke Jansen was chosen as Jean, shes like a frost giant from sweden and both she and Hugh Jackman towered over James Marsdens (who is 5' 9" had to wear stilted shoes to match match Famkes 6'0", Gods honest truth) Scott Summers who is like 6'3" or 6'4", thats why he gets the nickname "slim". Oh, and Famke was like seriously too old for that part
Its decades too late, but Stephanie Powers looks more like Jean than any other actress ever. The way John Byrne rendered Jean during his stint on Uncanny
always made me think of Stephanie. Check out the Dark Phoenix Saga and maybe you'll see what I see. Jean and Stephanie; both classic beauties!
