You're gonna be more shocked by the tattoo on his lower back, it's a bullseye.

It caught me off guard that he had his own book, but I was really shocked Winick wasn't involved, just feels wrong.

Meh, me, I welcome the change. I mean, think about it. If only Winick is able to do it right, Jason isn't going to go anywhere in the long run. I'm confident in Loebder, mostly because this is a team book, and Lo=Generation X and 5 years of Uncanny X-Men.

You know, I like the hat. I like it a lot. Baseball-style caps are being used by military and police more and more, why not superheroes?

If it was a Red Hood solo title, I'd say Winick had to be on it, but let's be honest, this was probably Outsiders til they got cold feet and started thinking the Red Hood brand is probably stronger than that. That and after 7 years on cancellations, maybe the Outsiders name needs a rest/

@RedHoodJT: Mahnke did Vol. 1 and one or two issues in Vol. 2, but the art style switch is just awful between the two. And I think it was Morales who did the Annual.

@theincrediblezero: Hmm I'm not sure. But I knew the art style had changed but it wasn't like a switch from good art to horrible it had just switched. I mean it wasn't as bad as Batman Year 2 where the whole book is done by one guy then the last issue and a half are done By Mcfarlane with a pretty shitty inker.

@RedHoodsDen: I do think that we, as the readers, are going to realize its a new universe probably taking the best of both worlds so to speak and we have to figure out just what happened to make all these changes. Like for example Dick becoming Nightwing again.

Teen Titans don't look so bad, they sure have that unnecesary "EXTREEEEEEEEME" vibe to them, but I've seen worse.

@Primmaster64: Why are people bothered by the red hair ? It makes him much more awesome as a character, not for his looks, but because it adds depth to his relationship with Batman, the latter dyed his hair black.

Why did Batman do that ? To make him less recognizable ? Or because he wanted to replace Richard ? It enhances the whole "prodigal son" theme between Batman and the robins.

@Feliciano2040: I like his hair the way it is this current story arc in BnR. If he keeps it that way then I'm ok with it.
