Red Hood vs Nightwing (New 52)
@jayaaerow: you do relize that jason was trained by lady shiva right?
@lifeofvibe: Yes. I already know. It's why he has such a connection to the League Of Assassins. Cheshire confirmed it. But it seems she doesn't hold much faith in him, calling him brainless. Cheshire too.

Tim was trained by the REAL Lady Shiva PreFlashpoint and he couldn't have beat Dick
@danhimself: does it look like i care?

Your text is almost in tears.

Yeah and he's expected to lead the League of Assassins.

I laughed out loud. With the stuff happening to him, Bronze Tiger is like "You can do it! I have complete faith in you cause Talia does despite you having some random amnesia here and we're fighting god-like people that give us World's Greatest Assassins problems! NO PRESSSURE!" XD
The point people are making by pointing out that Tim trained under Lady Shive Pre-Flashpoint, is that even with said training Dick was still superior to him. So to now say Jason trained under Lady Shiva Post-Flashpoint (SMH they really screwed up these 3 characters by switching aspects of character history around. No originality at all.) doesn't hold anymore water than Tim having trained under her Pre-Flashpoint. Means the same thing, but Dick's still superior to both.

Exactly. Just cause you had the best Teacher around doesn't mean you're just as skilled. Nightwing has proven that already. He kinda had to improve himself based on what he was taught. He's been around for 70 years....still ain't Batman-level skilled. Im pretty sure Jason Todd is not Lady Shiva-level just because he was trained by her. And judging from the way she treats him, i'm going to guess she's not so fond of his skills.
Ofc it's Nightwing that's the same answer you'll get when you put him up against any Robin.
lol
All these answers are nightwing bias that why i hate nightwing with a passion cause nobody seems to get over him hes like the justin bieber of comics yeah i dont like him at all
@zijuun: only reason i would think nightwing wins is not because he has better feats but more like more feats

Yet you've provided no actual reason for why Jason Todd would win. It'd be like if people asked who'd win between Batman and Nightwing, and everyone was saying Batman, and then I went in and called them biased, when Batman has the feats and skills to back up such a victory. It's the exact same thing here and has nothing to do with anyone being bias just because they're not voting for the character you want them to.
@nathaniel_christopher: my last comment corrected myself i said the only reason i would think nightwing would win is because he hases better feats or more feats or both you can read up there sorry if you didnt catch that
Idk why people expect any of the other Robins to beat Nightwing. He's been at it way longer ontop of being a master acrobat.
The reasons would most likely be 1) Cause some fans favor one Former Robin/Robins over all and 2) Jason does have some rather weirds upgrades whereas Dick in New 52 got downgraded.
Do we even need to ask this? Every time Red Hood in Nightwing fight, Dick wins. As Jason Todd fans the best we are ever allowed to hope for is a stalemate.

So true that it actually hurts my pride.
Jason. Pre-52 I would have said Nightwing, but Jason got a crazy boost in ability in the new 52. I think he could beat Nightwing 6/10 times.
Did they fight against each other in new 52?
Pre-52 Dick hat 10 years more experience/training than Jason (Dick is 6-7 years older and Jason lost 3 1/2 year between his dead and the Lazarus pit).
In the new 52 they are closer in age, Jason was probably only dead for half a year and was trained by the all cast.

I agree

Closest I can think of would be during the New 52 Under the Hood, which was itself only a flashback that showed Jason holding a gun on Bruce, and then Dick intervening. We have no idea where things went from there, though Jason obviously didn't kill either Bruce or Dick. So there's been no real fight on panel.
I find it harder to say who'd win Post-52, as while we've gone fairly in-depth into the training Jason underwent, the same hasn't been done for Dick; or Tim for that matter. (Damian it seems didn't change at all, keeping the training from his mom and various tutors.)

I'm not sure if he would still win, if you compare them at a similar age and stages of their career (and comic book eras). For example if you compare before they were trained (Dick from "Year 3" vs. Jason from Batman #408-#409 vs. Tim from "A Lonely Place of Dying") or when they start their solo careers (Dick from "Nightwing: Year one" vs. Jason from "Under the Hood", vs. Tim at the beginning of the Red Robin series).
In a comic Grayson would win because he was the first Robin, to my knowledge based on training and showings Jason should win.
@justthatkid: that... is surprisingly smart
kudos...
