Jason Todd was the second Robin, until he was brutally murdered by the Joker. After he was resurrected, Jason learned Batman didn't avenge his death. Anguished and seeking vengeance, he initially turned against his mentor and father figure and took on the Clown Prince's former identity: the Red Hood. He eventually returned to the Bat-Family and assembled a team of anti-heroes known as the Outlaws.
What's with the bat symbol?? Aside from that it just looks quite generic and rushed (armoured spandex with a 'cool' leather jacket, oh please) I mean I like it more than the Morrison dome-head job but the Bat Symbol just has to go as he does not need any Symbol because of the rather distinct red helmet he rocks. Also Jason shoots guns, plants bombs/traps, kills people ect. He's more like an urban terrorist working to his own agenda than a member of the bat team. It makes very little sense for him to be carrying the bat symbol on his chest. I'm thinking a return to his first Red Hood costume is just what the doctor ordered.

No. I don't believe so. Similar, but not the same. I kind of like the costume.
Yes similar but not the same and the devil is in the detail. Surely your not a fan of the inclusion of the Bat emblem to his new costume? I liked it when he was just wearing urban conflict sort of clothes & black jacket and his futuristic motorcycle helmet/mask thing.

I reserve judgment about the Symbol. I don't know yet, it depends how it works out. I'll hav to see when I read the comics.

Yeah, they got the costume from the last version, replaced the symbol. And they just added the Jacket. I actually like it more than all of the other costumes. It has my approval.

Everything else is cool to me,except for the bat symbol
I suppose it does have more comic booky feel to it which is cool but I still prefer the first one. Different strokes I suppose. If he had pants to match the jacket I would be happier and maybe the emblem from the dome-head costume? I think the coal jump suit makes the jacket look a bit superfluous and silly.
@sesquipedalophobe: Well I think that's a roundabout way of saying it's the best of a bad bunch. I don't hate the new costumes but I don't exactly love them either..
It looks to me like they recolored the "under the red hood" costume and slapped a Bat symbol on it: I don't see anything wrong with that really. I like it. I think it works. Although my favorite is still the Jason Todd Hush costume:
His costumes have always been "leather jacket over combat armor." I feel like this new one is closer to the character than the white, lipstick-head one.

Really they just recolored the last bnr arc 's costume and stuck a bat on it. I really dislike it but it's better than what we had. Sad we have to settle for "better than what he had"- but it's not better than the original costume either.
My thoughts exactly bud. You come across like you'd know this what happened to his cool Kriss Knife he was rockin in under the hood?? That I also miss.
