I don't think so. The two don't have much in common. In the comics Jason was actually a nice kid like Dick most of the time.

Not really, the major difference was his rage. But when he wasn't angry (=most of time) he was a nice kid, at least in the original comics. This is also shown in the flashback scenes in the "Under the Red Hood" movie. This might be not the case in the newer comics, but there you see him mostly in short flash backs.
