I meant to post this when the Red Hood movie was out, but never got around to it. What's a good place to start reading about Todd as a villain?
Jason Todd
Character » Jason Todd appears in 1754 issues.
Jason Todd was the second Robin, until he was brutally murdered by the Joker. After he was resurrected, Jason learned Batman didn't avenge his death. Anguished and seeking vengeance, he initially turned against his mentor and father figure and took on the Clown Prince's former identity: the Red Hood. He eventually returned to the Bat-Family and assembled a team of anti-heroes known as the Outlaws.
I want to learn more about Jason Todd
He never has been a villain he's never killed one good person he uses criminal methods to ensure justice on Gotham .But if you wanna see him as a anti villain read Battle for the cowl but in that story he was really miswritten if you wanna see the real way Jason Todd is supposed to be read Under the Hood vol 1&2 and read Red Hood Lost Days every other appearence he makes is pretty meaningless
Like is there other things I should read to get a grasp on Todd, or this'll teach me everything i wanna know?
" Under The Hood "For info, yes. But I think the animated movie has alot better than the original book.
There are no graphic nocels available featuring him as Robin except for Death in The Family, which is his death. So Death in The Family, Under the Hood, and Red Hood: Lost Days.
A better explanation to his ressurection definitely. Other than that I loved the book.

i was able to collect death in the 80s comic book form so if u want to see his motives try i also recomend under the hood heck i would probaly be the same after the joker killed my mother and me=)
