Jason Todd was the second Robin, until he was brutally murdered by the Joker. After he was resurrected, Jason learned Batman didn't avenge his death. Anguished and seeking vengeance, he initially turned against his mentor and father figure and took on the Clown Prince's former identity: the Red Hood. He eventually returned to the Bat-Family and assembled a team of anti-heroes known as the Outlaws.

I'm not even a big Talia fan, I just find this to be a disgusting piece of writing. Despite how 'awesome' you guys may think it is that Jason had sex with his dad's lover, it's sick. Originally I regretted not picking up Lost Days but, if this is how it ends... Now I'm not too bothered.

Hmm... Well, this is not that shocking and quite explainable, and it also shows one thing: Judd Winick actually reads other writers' work and tries to get along with their storylines, unlike some other people (COUGHMORRISONCOUGH). Talia says that her father is dead and that Batman is to blame, ergo, this happens right after Batman: Death and the Maidens, where 1.Talia was brainwashed by Nissa who killed/resurrected her over and over and over; 2.Talia plainly states that Bruce is no longer her beloved and that it's both her and her sister's enemy.
It may appear sick to some because of the father/son/father's lover relationship between Bats, Talia and Jason, but it's understandable and perfectly explainable, alias Talia wants Jason to hit Batman where it hurts and pushes him in the right direction, using all the edges she knows she has over a then 18/19 years old boy who has been depending on her for basically everything in the last years. It also ties in with DeathATM and shows that just like she said, be it for brainwashing or anything else, Talia doesn't care squat about Bruce anymore. Kudos to Winick for another good job done. Even in sex, he manages to surprise me.

@Meinos Kaen: You're coughing on morrison when you should be hating on winnick, and no its not explainable,yeah the fact he reads other peoples work and still cant mantain continuity makes him worse than an ignorant writer.There is only one major problem with your awesome theory Nyssa happened after HUSH this happened before HUSH .this story is based on events which happened in the past not what is happeneing in the present,talia may not care about bruce now(doubtful) but she did in hush where she kissed him and called him "beloved" multiple times,she even sold lexcorp property to him,WININCK SUCKS
A question for winick defenders,why was the secret society hunting jason in "under the red hood"? after all talia was a member of the society and "red hood the lost days" implies that talia knew about him becoming the red hood. also during winicks run on outsiders jason broke in to society headquarters and spied upon them.FAIL upon FAIL.

nice you didnt even bother adressing my points.and ofcourse jason todd fans dont care when morisson gives him red hair they go up in arms without even realising what his intentions were,when winick twists continuity of 3 storylines just to do what ?show a sex scene they are all praises .yes lots of writers ignore continuity and they also get the heat for it,all i see here is praise for winick for writing such a "good story" and mind you he ignored continuity just throw an onpanel sex scene no writer to my knowledge has ever done that,yeah wininck should stay as far as he could from batman characters,he can his precious jason for all i care.
