Prediction on Jason's future now with this whole reboot?
 
I'm worried he might be wiped out of existence. I'm hearing a lot about going back to Dick!Robin (I doubt it, but hey, it warrants discussion).

I would like it if they made Dick Nightwing and rebooted that series with a quality writer. I would also like to see Jason as Robin, in my opinion, the second best incarnation of Jay.

Yep..it is most likely that Dick will be Robin..since...Batman will be young again.

Over the past few years there has been great character development for Tim, Dick, and Damian.  Now it is all going to waste! I am usually not an angry man, but this pisses me off.

It would be a good excuse to give Jason a new resurrection and hair color... 
 
But I call bullshit on this, they don't have the balls for a real hard reboot. Not after spending the last 5 years to tell me 1939 stories are canon. They may tweak origins in the new #1, some of them may wear these costumes for a while but Batman Inc will go on as planned. Superman and Lois will not go the Brand New Day route. This is taking the Earth 1 branding notion to the main books to make you think Flashpoint mattered.  That's all. They'll do an edgy origin and return to business as usual.

So so fake. They're scared to death of their dwindling market share and are trying to plug it with the kitchen sink. Flashpoint isn't a big enough event to justify this in reality...it's a mediocre enough event to released a bunch of BS press releases telling you "Nothing...NOTHING...will be the same again!"

I'm waiting for more solid information on all this, because it's really hard to believe DC is about to discard characters like Jason Todd and Tim Drake along with a lot of the stories of the past 10-20 years. There has to be more to all this.

I bet Barry fails and everything becomes an extension of the Flashpoint universe.

Personally I think they're just hyping a trip into Flashpoint's DCU. This is the JLA of the altered timeline. This is why you read Flashpoint.

What're the odds they just end up launching an alternate universe like Marvel's Ultimate line?

I just don't see this being something that messes with the DCU in a big way. Maybe minor things but nothing drastic that is going to erase anyone or anything.

Oh...good...a Grifter series....that'll help make it clear Jason's getting a title shot...what with a similar character getting one...

I mean take it a step further, Grifter and Jason fought in Countdown...because they were basically eachother's other universe counterpart....

This all because of the lawsuits they're going through right now. They have to change a ton of details, or cough up a ridiculous amount of money in royalties to the Siegels. Utter bull, but enough to trigger something like this, that, like it or not, WILL have some impact that could affect the next couple years.
