Not that they ever would incorporate Jason into any of the live-action films, just for fun, who do you think might make for a good Jason?
Who could manage a young and angry teen? How about when he is older, as Red Hood?
Jackie Earle Haley's version of Rorschach from the Watchmen movie reminded me what Jason might be like as an adult, but on the physical side, Jackie seems too small/slight. Someone like Michael C. Hall (from Dexter) however is more muscular (even though not tall?) and would also do well with portraying the level of anger, violence and frustration that comes with Jason ...
... still, my mind wanders.
Any thoughts for who might do well to play an adult Jason Todd?
And the REAL challenge here, finding a kid who would fit the part. Thoughts?
Jason Todd
Character » Jason Todd appears in 1742 issues.
Jason Todd was the second Robin, until he was brutally murdered by the Joker. After he was resurrected, Jason learned Batman didn't avenge his death. Anguished and seeking vengeance, he initially turned against his mentor and father figure and took on the Clown Prince's former identity: the Red Hood. He eventually returned to the Bat-Family and assembled a team of anti-heroes known as the Outlaws.
Casting Jason Todd
haven't posted in over a year and this is what brought me back? I'm losing it... But I was thinking about the exact same thing and guess who came to mind...
Jonathan Taylor Thomas... yeah I know, but think about it. He actually looks quite a bit like how he is portrayed in the comics, and he definitely has the attitude, even all the way back in Home Improvement... He did the whole "oh you're cute... but I really want to slap you upside the head" act. Hmmm I know wasted thing to think about, but there you go.
" For live action, I'd say Jensen Ackles, the same guy who does his voice in Under the Red Hood. And like Jason he's at least 6 ft, so height shouldn't be an issue. "Agreed. Jensen could really pull of the vigilante out for revenge role.

Funny thing about Jensen is that it wouldn't be his first live action DC moment. He was on Smallville for awhile in the earlier seasons. Anyway seems like a good choice to me, they would just also have to find the right Dick and Tim as well (would be funny to have Jared Padalecki as Dick) . As for the young Jason I would hope they would find an unknown for the role.
I know this is a Jason thread but It's kinda hard to talk about one of the "brothers" without mentioning the others.
If we're gonna switch it to all three of them. I think Jensen would make the perfect Jason for Red Hood. Jared would be a good Dick Grayson, or Milo from Heroes would be good too. And as for Tim I think that the guy that played Jesse in the remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street would be a good choice. I don't know his name though.
