Is it any good? I was planning on buying it since all of DC animated films so far have been great
Jason Todd
Character » Jason Todd appears in 1742 issues.
Jason Todd was the second Robin, until he was brutally murdered by the Joker. After he was resurrected, Jason learned Batman didn't avenge his death. Anguished and seeking vengeance, he initially turned against his mentor and father figure and took on the Clown Prince's former identity: the Red Hood. He eventually returned to the Bat-Family and assembled a team of anti-heroes known as the Outlaws.
Anyone see "Under the Red Hood"?
It's awesome! Better than the Green Lantern Movie and Crisis on Two Earths. I wouldn't put it my top 5 favorite comic movies though. Top 10 definitely.
Watched it last night. I throughly enjoyed it. Better than the Green Lantern one that's for sure. :-P
I've got to get this. I may actually enjoy the animated films more than the live action ones.
My favorite so far is still http://www.comicvine.com/justice-league-the-new-frontier/223-86/
am i the only who laughed after Jason took a beating from Joker, managed to get up and then fell on the floor? or how his body wasnt damaged by the explosion?
I saw it, definitely one of the BEST DC animated movies so far, features many of Batman's toughest foes plus has alot of action and mystery, a great tribute to the Bat :D
You'd kill yourself if you don't buy and watch it. LOLOLOLOL Nah don't, I'm kidding. Under the Red Hood was a very good animated Batman movie, possibly one of the best, if not the best. It's good to see Jason in action.
The best DC animated movie so far. Better than Public Enemies. If only they can make Jason half as beast as he was in the movie!
" @Crom-Cruach: No! I'm not weird! You are! *starts to cry* "*gives him a buddy hug*
it's ok to prefer under the red hood. even if I don't understand it...
lol I know bro. I remember that it showed Joker unmasked.
it made joker's origin as being a mob soldier that was responsible for what happened to Bruce's girlfriend.
If it was meant to be a mystery story, it failed.... showing Jason Todd's death first thing was a bad move. I mean, I know it was him. But for people who didn't know, it kinda was obvious.
" i thought it was a great movie. I havent red any of Jsaon Todd's past or if the movie plays out the story correctly. Is the movie anywhere close to telling the true story of what happened? "It is.
thanks, that movie made me like Jason even more. They need to keep away from the crazed pycho that they were portraying him as after the battle for the cowl. I like him as the anti-hero that isnt afraid to kill the heroes that get in his way. I thought Jason was great in the movie. I really wish they would set him in as Dick's arch nemesis already. That could possibly be the best thing for both of them.
I thought it was a great movie one of the finest dc animated features out yet. It was well written. It was dark just the kind of story a batman movie needed. A great and sad beginning and from then on it got better and better.
BOBO OUT
