Princess of K'ai and lover of Bruce Banner and the Hulk. Edit
Jarella was living a life on her sub-atomic world when the Hulk came in and saved it from a rampaging boar. The people of K'ai were all green skinned people but were similar to humans in biology other than that, and they accepted Hulk.
Jarella and Bruce/Hulk fell in love with each other and Jarella eventually returned to Earth with the Hulk.
During a bank robbery Hulk has to fight Crypto-man and during the battle Jarella sacrificed her life to save a boy from falling rubble. Hulk then quickly dispatches Crypto-man and takes Jarella to Gamma Base asking that they heal her, she dies on the Hospital bed. Hulk then tears up New York trying to attract Dr. Strange who he believes can revive Jarella. He can't and Hulk returns Jarella to K'ai for her burial.
Although Jarella is dead she frequently appears in Bruce and the Hulk's dreams and in their mind.
