    Reunion with Max Damage

In her comic book debut, we find her driving a heavily armored van with the rest of Max Damage's old crew.  After Max had been missing for a month after Plutonian's gone rogue, Carl leads the ragtag bunch to rob the Diamond Exchange for survival.  Running into their old boss Max on the way there, they find out that Max had a change of heart since they last saw him, and he assists the Sky City Police in their capture.  The resourceful Jailbait, however, escapes undetected during the reunion.

Jailbait is already waiting for Max Damage as he drives back to their secret hideout, or their "home" as the promiscuous 16 year-old affectionately puts it.  She attempts seduce her former lover, but after he refuses, she snaps back in shock, "You always said you like 'em young!"  Jailbait continues to be amazed by her former boss when lets Lieutenant Armadale out of the trunk.  When Max opens his secret vault revealing 4.2 million dollars to Armdale, Jailbait is shocked at the hidden amount.  To her dismay, Max begins to torch all of the tainted money with a flamethrower.  She confronts Max's decision to go straight, asking him if he found Jesus.  Max tells her she was close, that "[he] saw the face of God."

Jailbait tries to seduce Max the next morning after waking up by stealing his razor as he's lathering for a shave.  She playfully asks if he's "getting hard," and he quickly reminds her that it's hands off unless she suddenly turns legal.  She continues to try to appease him with his favorite breakfast, and even a back rub, and eventually suits up to meet back with Lieutenant Armadale for more training on how to fight crime.

    Rough Start as a Sidekick

While driving around on patrol in her car, Lieutenant Armadale receives a call on the police radio of a hostage situation.  Max Damage tells the two to stay in the car while he handles the situation.  While Max may have turned a new leaf, Jailbait is busy looting the residency downstairs.  Max puts a quick stop to this, and they rush off to confront David Orjean, the biochemical engineer better known as Origin.

Max Damage continues to try to baby Jailbait, telling her it's too dangerous and to wait outside with Armadale as he calls for backup.  She rebutts:

"You taught me how to tear a guy's sack off!  You let me fight the Hentai Brothers in a cage match because you said it was hot!  And I won!  And it was hot!  If I didn't want 'dangerous,' I'd be in a prom dress right now being felt up by Pointdexter J. Limpstick, okay?  I'm here!  Put me in the game, coach!"

Jailbait then rushes off after Max tells her to search the premises for any other of Origin's potential victims.  She finds three of Origin's clients, and orders them to leave without giving them a reason.  They choose to ignore her, so she leaves the room.  Gathering her wits, she rips her costume, bloodies her lip by punching it, then crashes through the window.  The clients run to her aid asking what happened.  Jailbait craftily warns them that Max Damage is here and to run for their lives.

After blowing up Origin's laboratory, Jailbait breaks into Lieutenant Armadale's home.  After a short confrontation, Max explains that he did not want to return to the hideout that he used as a criminal, and that Jailbait broke down the door because she really had to pee.  After eating some of Armadale's sugar-free food and wearing his wife's sweater, she goes pretends to go downstairs to the guest room, but tries to fall asleep in backseat of her car.

After having a heart-to-heart with the lieutenant, Max Damage unknowingly drives off with Jailbait in her car to confront Amberjack about a trans-dimensional teleporter.  During the ensuing battle, Amberjack activates a gigantic robot to gain the upper hand against Max.   With transporter in hand, Jailbait calls Amberjack a "jagoff" from upstairs, interrupting the villain from pummeling Max in the face.  Enraged at her audacity, he fires one of his cyborg hands at her.  Grabbing her by the throat, it rockets her around the room, and Jailbait eventually drops the device.  Max catches it as Amberjack commands his robot to crush the adolescent vixen.  Max activates the one-time use teleporter and throws it at Jailbait, but she deflects it at the giant robot, sending it to the parallel world.

Praising Max for their victory, Jailbait teases him that his aim sucks because he didn't even come close to hitting the robot.  As she finds out that Max was intentionally trying to send Jailbait to the better world, she tells Max to go to hell and that she doesn't want  him anywhere near her.
