Base her New52 version on her Ame-Comi version.

in the Ame-Comi universe, Jade (and her brother) is Chinese, and an actual Green Lantern (How she gets her powers). This version is also blind (could get rid of that part for New52, but why?) So her use of the Lantern powers is more musical based, and she uses the ring to "see" things in terms of sound waves, like Daredevil's radar sense.

Waddya think? Rather than internalizing Alan Scott's ring powers, she actually gets a ring. Could still be a "long lost child" of his, though. Or perhaps some kind of non consensual conception (dna splicing, whatever). Or not related to him at ALL.

Easy to reboot Jade on main earth as either a meta or a member of the Green Lantern corps.

@colonyofcells: true, but I really like the "musical/sound/DJ" unique spin on her that Ame-Comi took, it would be nice in New52 as well, so she's not just a "female green lantern".

I don't see why the Starheart can't either create Jade as a daughter for Allan or simply infuse a young women with Green Lantern type powers.

It would be nice if they tied Stewart into the main GL universe a little more, maybe explain how and why he's a magic based GL to the corps.

All Jade & her brother have to be is from when Alan tried to be straight, got some chick pregnant, he didnt know about them, realized he was gay & he meets them later. Since Alan is gay, make Jade a lesbian instead. Maybe even switch their powers with each other. Actually, they wouldnt even have powers, Jade would have to be the relacment of Alan Scott at least 15-20 years after him.

But assuming her mother is the same, & she were adopted, she wouldnt have her GL powers to save her from being raped by her teacher, or the school's janitor or whatever it was. At best, she'd have to use her plant powers. Obsidion,, & especially her would be quite different in the new52, they might as well not even bother with them. That is probly why they decided to make Alan gay, instead of having a gay son.

Jade and her brother Obsidian are Meta Human children that Alan Scott of Earth 2 adopts. He and Sam were already on a list. He is wealthy, well known for his philanthropic work, and now being a "Wonder" gives him a better understanding of how to be a father to "Wonder" twins. I think they should be brought back in the New 52's Earth 2 as alien children found in something that crashed to Earth called the Starheart. That way they are children he can adopt, so they are his kids, and then if the comic wants they can age to adults/teens faster thanks to being aliens.
