The son of Juggernaut from Earth-982, aka MC2 universe
Backstory
Zane Yama is the son of Juggernaut, and is virtually indestructible whilst in the form of J2. He can only stay in his J2 form for about an hour, then he transforms back to his original self, Zane Yama. Who is a helpless scrawny teenager, and was a victim of viscous hectoring from a bully at school named Miller Hallendale.
In the more recent issue's of A-Next (the new version of the Avengers) J2 develops an attraction for Thena (Thor's daughter), which definitely didn't impress the Blue Streak, who has a "thing" for J2. J2 even risked his life to save Thena's in the same issue. The issue where the daughter of Loki tried to convert earth to Asgard after the planet eating Galactus destroyed it.
He once tied his father's shirt around his waist as a tribute, until he managed to save his father with the help of the X-Men's Cyclops. His helmet protects him from psychic attacks much like his father's before him.
Powers and Abilities
Zane Yama has the ability to turn into the form of J2. In this form J2 is invulnerable and super strong. He can approximately lift (bench) 75 tons. As a result of being Juggernauts son, J2 has the ability to become unstoppable when he starts to run. Unfortunately he can only be in this form for about one hour until he uncontrollably changes in to his Zane Yama form. Like his father, J2 is also susceptible to mind attacks which lead him wear a helmet which protects his mind.
