Unless zombie gravedigger Gwen Dylan eats a dead person's brain once a month, she loses her memories. The trouble is, for the week following a feeding, she shares her head with the dead person's final thoughts and has to complete any unfinished business they've left behind. iZombie keeps up its pace with an amazing issue #3 0

I can't give enough praise to Chris Roberson and Michael Allred's iZombie. The book takes classic horror ideas and combines them with a 60s comic art style, but keeps everything feeling current with witty characters and modern storytelling. If issue #1 hit it out of the park, issue #3 might as well hit a grand slam. Style Could Use a Little More Substance 0

Michael Allred's artwork is a joy to behold. It's got a retro feel and even depicting supernatural horror elements it still has an upbeat style. This series is really a pleasant experience month after month, but the story has a bit of a meandering pace. Several elements of the plot are fuzzy and the world the characters inhabit could use a bit more development. Allred could illustrate a phonebook and it would be fun to look at, which is a credit to his talent, but poses a challenge for any write...
