I, Revealed!
I, Zombie # 17
This always happens in tv shows, movies, comics, whatever but it does someone has a deep secret that they never want their boy/girl friend to know and that person always finds out! Everyone should be much more open from now on! But the cliche is entertaining nonetheless! Like I've said before I think in last issue, but I'll say it again EVERYTHING IS COMING TO AHEAD! There are a lot of things going on. Horatio's reaction to Gwen's big secret, zombie apocalypse!, Dead Presidents working with the monster hunters to fight the zombies, Ellie finds Galatea's runaway frankenstein project, Galatea is confronted by that brain in a jar doctor, Gwen gains the memory of how she became a zombie! Which was caused by Amon, because he convinced her to kill herself to save the human race. Oh and Kennedy (the one with the afro) reveals that her and Gwen are the same kind of zombie!
The GOOD!
Yea so you can see there is a lot going on! I like that most of the time but sometimes things get cluttered easily, but I feel that Roberson transitions each event carefully. It's great that all the different pieces of this story come together nicely in a great transition! This also shows that Roberson doesn't want us to forget anything from this series and I like that. Anywho this story itself is just great and enjoyable! I am really falling in love with these characters! I'm just so excited to see more from them! I thought it was funny and cool when Dixie took out that shotgun and started blowing off some zombie heads!
Art: I'm getting very tired of saying how great Allred's art. So I'm gonna say it was horrible in this issue! No I'm just kidding it was great as always! Especially the cover! It's symbolism that Gwen is caught in the middle of this fight between the hunters and dead presidents! Gwen is a monster like the dead presidents but she is in love with one of the hunters that doesn't accept her yet.
The BAD!
There really is nothing bad to say about this comic!
The VERDICT!
I highly recommend this issue! I highly recommend this series! 5 OUT OF 5! PICK IT UP!
