Drago is a supersoldier created by Soviet scientists, by hormones, anabolics, steroids and other substances.

Drago is an Olympic gold medalist and an amateur boxing champion from the Soviet Union, who had an amateur record of 100-0-0 Wins (100 KO). He is billed at 261 pounds (118 kg, over 18 ½ stone). He wields a punch with which has been measured between 1850-2150psi, whereas the average psi for a boxer is 700psi. Biography:

Ivan Drago was born on February 23, 1956, his father was a hero of World War II, the son in turn of a prominent participant in the Communist Revolution of 1917. because it's a american movie during the cold war featuring a commie antagonist.

Did they really make Ivan a superhuman too?....Is there anyone that comics haven't touched? Because none of whats in the OP, is in what the movie states. His punch while impressive, a professional boxer now could punch over 1300 PSI anyway, Tyson had a punch 1800 psi. Really Ivan isn't a superhuman, hes just a great boxer who(its implied) that he was taking drugs to help his performance.

True .. There are many things that not happened in the movie .. since drago was in the army and traveled to Cuba to train in the communism of Fidel Castro and when subjected to the first experiments, the first program Gagarin (not happens in the movie)

return to Moscow to become part of the program Gagarin II (named after first Russian cosmonaut and training system before space travel) where a Spartan training exhaustive and, together with the application of performance improvement hormones (if happens in the movie)
