Character » Iron Man appears in 6250 issues.

After he was kidnapped by terrorists and gravely injured, billionaire industrialist and brilliant engineer Tony Stark was pressured to create a weapon of mass destruction. Instead, he created a suit of power armor to escape. Now vowing to protect a world he helped endanger, he became the Invincible Iron Man.

Why doesn't Iron make suits suitable for other Avengers members?

Why can't he make suits especially designed for Black Widow, Falcon, Captain America and Hawkeye so that all four can fly (fly faster for Falcon) and also have long range attacks as well as make them more invulnerable from attacks. The four would be more useful.

He made one for Spidey already... ANyway, the more people have one the more chance of him losing control of the tech...

that is on of the things I really hate about the avengers: Stark has the possibility to make them stronger and he doesen`t. Let`s be honest: how many of you would let your freinds go against threats like Phenix Five with no armor when you could make them bulletproof?

That and the fact that CAPTAIN AMERICA best weapon from all Mavel U is a friking shield

That makes sense. They should be only be used for extreme circumstances though ( space, hazardous environment etc) with the exception of Falcon. He should get an upgrade with ranged attacks and better protection , I'd love to see an Iron Falcon suit or just an upgrade on what he has now.

It's just his thing, I guess...

Also, if any of them went rogue or anything he'd feel responsible. People might fear an army of Iron Men.

The heroes would be aware that he is using the suit as a leash = disputes OR Tony does not want his ass handed to him by his own tech.

Tony Stark is actually afraid of the next Avengers event and doesn't want to give away his techonology.

Same reason that the Flash doesn't KO the Joker or Penguin for Batman whenever they show up. It would be really boring.

Because most of the others like say Hawkeye and Black Widow rely and sealth, technology while some are designed to be untracable will ultimately be traced by something esp. in the comic-world, not to mention they can be EMP'ed or hacked. So then there stealthy weapons would be better than a ten ton suit you can't use or can be used against you
