In an exclusive talk with Robert Downey Jr, MTV is reporting that Mickey Rourke will not be playing Crimson Dynamo in "Iron Man 2."

So could he be playing Whiplash?  If so, will they...change his costume?  Will Rourke even be in the movie?  He hasn't been officially signed on.  There's still the question of him being lowballed with an offer of only $250,000.  Will that be enough for him?  Would Whiplash be someone you'd want to see on the big screen?"

I'm not terribly surprised.  Stark has a mechanical suit.  His enemy in the last movie had a mechanical suit.  Rhodey may get a mechanical suit.  Another mechanical villain would be suit redundancy, I say.
