That in itself isn't really big news. What will be interesting is whether or not Rourke returns for Sin City 2 as Marv. Frank Miller has stated that he had a "pretty big role" for him.
Mickey Rourke has been making a comeback these last few years. And now that he's won a Golden Globe for Best Actor in The Wrestler, he is in more of a position to make demands. He's recently told Superherohype:
“No, I’m not interested in that right now. That’s not a reality right now. It’s p–sing in the wind. There’s different factions going different directions there. I don’t know. That’s three hours of make-up and I’m claustrophobic, so I’m going to have to work something out.”I think they'll have to offer him some big money to become Marv again, if his schedule even allows for it.
