I've read it 3 times in the past 2 years because it is so good. But I ask myself, why does he have to travel from site to site in order to erase his mind? Do the generators only have a finite amount of repulsor energy stored within them? _____ Insert more questions.

@pepperr: He was trying to destroy his sites around the world. And he was trying to destroy his brain slowly. So I think he could've done it from one site but he had to travel to keep any of his armories/bases from falling into the wrong hands.
