not a big fan of the animation...i'm more excited to see the new x-men cartoon then this....and why would they make him a teenager that makes no sense what so ever

The reason most likely is they want a younger crowd to be able to relate to him.  Most of the younger viewers may not be able to see themselves as a dude in his late 30s/early 40s.  It's about marketing.  This isn't geared towards veteran comic readers.  It's for the younger viewers whom the advertisers will be shootin' for.  They won't want to completely alienate the actual comic fans either so I'm sure there'll be some credibility to it.  I'm also sure they don't want to mix in the alcohol/playboy angle either.

I'm not totally thrilled about these things but I still think it'll be way better than a lot of the crap that passes for cartoons these days.  So it's kind of like I'll take what I can get.  Unless it too is total crap.
