Not much plot here to get in the way of the story. Actually this book already assumes you have read the first two issues, and gets straight to the part where there is a bunch of butt kicking. That in all honestly, is not really a good thing here. If you put all of the pieces together, War Machine plays like a big loud summer movie that starts with a lot of promise, and then just gets bigger louder and more stupid as it goes. It is not like it was all bad. It just could have been a lot better with the inclusion of some characterization and story.
