This is it! The final showdown between Iron Man and his greatest enemies! The new Spymaster finally makes his bid as a bona fide super-villain, and the Living Laser is back to demonstrate what he’s learned in exile. But will Iron Man finally have HIS revenge? The senses-shattering conclusion to Iron Man’s greatest adventure yet! Run, don’t walk to your LCS to grab this one!

The Spymaster and Iron Man are locked in battle. Spymaster corners Iron Man and uses an energy weapon to temporarily incapacitate him. He lectures Iron Man about what he feels is Stark's arrogant belief that he has evolved past the conflicts with super-villains that once defined him. As he moves in for the kill, Iron Man counter-attacks. Iron Man tries to escape while his armor repairs itself. Spymaster launches remote controlled missiles that hone in on Iron Man's location. Using his extremis abilities, Iron Man hacks into the missile control system and reprograms them, sending them clear of the building and destroying them in the air.

Iron Man re-engages Spymaster with his armor still undergoing repair. He manages to knock him down. Suddenly, an energy surge in the building interupts the fight. The Living Laser vaporizes the Spymaster's wife (who had been monitoring the battle from a distance) and coalesces into humanoid form. He attacks Iron Man, seeking revenge and seriously damaging his power armor. During the chaos, Spymaster escapes. Iron Man then uses his armor to absorb the Living Laser as a power source, thus halting his rampage and storing him in the armors power cells.

Back at Stark International's Coney Island headquarters, Iron Man dumps the Living Laser back into his prison, this time without the Intrabeam Particle Communication technology that once allowed him to escape.

While in his office, Tony Stark reminisces about Dr. Maggie Dillon, wishing he could tell her that she was right about him. Jarvis consoles him, telling Tony that the evolution he represents is something to be admired.
