Found a cheap way to catch up on Invincible

#1 Edited by Kallarkz (3303 posts) - - Show Bio

Image has released "invincible compendium" vol 1 which includes issues 0-48 plus 3 special issues for $40. This is for all of you who have been asking how to start on this series and this is a very cheap way. Take care

I've seen this in my comic shop.
How can people read so large collections?

If the series has good art, well-written characters and fun/interesting stories, it's easy.

He means that the book is too big.

I'm reading Sandman: Absolute Edition.

Sandman: Absolute Edition vol. 1 has 20 issues.
This collection has 47 issues.
Yeah...

Because I obviously can't judge, since I don't own one of these invincible collections.

it's a very good story to get into. The writing is consistent and each issue leaves you wanting more.

Jump on it!

HOLY.....!! How heavy is that? I couldn't read something that thick it would probably be uncomfortable.

This is interesting and a good way for a person to catch up.

@Kallarkz: 2 questions: 1. how sturdy is it?

2. How easy is it to read the comics? Are they ever cut off or hard to look at near the spine?

I bought the first TPB: (Family Matters). Does this collection have the extras at the end of the TPB's with the sketches, and all?

This collection is way cheaper, but those extras man. There's this one picture with the first five Teen Team's members eating which is pretty sweet, and I haven't even seen online.
