[SPOILERS!!] Rex has set things in motion that no one can stop now!

Issue 111's review! Rex has begun his plans to take over the world and no one can stop him! Not even Amanda, a.k.a., Monster Girl!

    The Good

Rex has certainly become the biggest, and possibly greatest, threat the INVINCIBLE series has seen!

If you are a decent enough human being, and have been reading INVINCIBLE recently; then you know that Rex has been brewing a plan to takeover Earth for quite a while now. Slowly, but steadily, Rex has done things that are unheard of from your everyday hero; well at least in this comic universe. However, he feels that this is the perfect time to execute his plan to eradicate the heroes that will, without a doubt, try to stop him and begin to takeover Earth. If you remember one thing from this, Rex is becoming the greatest threat that this series has ever seen!

I really love what Robert Kirkman is doing with Rex's character, in turning him into a soon-to-be ruler of the world. The best part about this fact, is that he's done it before! I love seeing when characters, like Rex, make a change from honest hero; to someone that can walk in the gray areas of life to accomplish a goal. Originally Rex wasn't like that, but I enjoyed how his stay in the Flaxan dimension really changed him. It's the best thing that has happened to his character, and really makes you think how much one thing can change a character, and give them the necessary edge to get things really done! That is how I see Rex, he's a doer! A doer with an edge on everyone in life, it just seems like no one can stop him; which is mainly true! And I really enjoy how Rex is portrayed like this in Kirkman's story for this issue.

Amazing job Kirkman with having Rex allude to everything he was doing! And awesome job with the jaw ripping Ottley, you revolutionize art!

Robert Kirkman having Rex sit down and talk with Amanda while his robots were killing lots of heroes was amazing. Having Rex talk to Amanda about the Flaxan dimension, and how they took over that world was amazing! I liked how Kirkman made Rex allude to everything he was going to do to achieve his goal of world domination; all while talking to Amanda.I really enjoyed how Kirkman handled this and then gave us a jaw dropping ending by having Rex seemingly kill Amanda! WHAAAT?!

Ryan Ottley's artwork, the definition of perfection! Seriously! From the emptiness of space to the intricate details of having someone's jaw punched off, Ottley knows how to make every scene of his artwork feel like it should be hanged on your wall. Don't believe me? Check this issue out for yourself!

    The Bad

The issue ended. I was kept on the edge of my seat the entire issue and it just had to end! Ugh, I want Invincible comics to be released twice a month!

    The Verdict

What happens when you don't read this series!
What happens when you don't read this series!

5 out of 5! If you haven't been reading this series, then you're as crazy as Rex! I suggest you find a way to check this series OUT! Robert Kirkman and company, pull off another amazing issue that sets up events that will certainly, not want to be missed out on! Until the next one!

Not for the faint of heart!!!! (or the emotionally attached) 0

Kirkman does it again by throwing the readers for a loop. This issue is all about Robot enacting his (gory) plan once and for all by making sure there's no one left to stand in his way of conquest. Just think game of thrones except this time without naked chicks (sort of) and dragons (once again sort of). If you're looking for happy endings you came to the wrong place, still I recommend buying this issue so you don't miss any of the epic fights and even more shocking drama....
