Invincible 104
Invincible is in trouble on a parallel dimension fighting a cannibalistic doppelgänger, and Atom Eve is trapped with Angstorm!
The Good
Robert Kirkman did an outstanding job with this issue! Returning back to characters that were introduced a while back, it's good to find out the fate of Invincible's doppelgängers. And of course, it's done in an Invincible fashion. With a psychopathic cannibalistic Invincible!
Kirkman did such a great job balancing both Invincible's troubles and Atom Eve's trouble. It kept me engaged in the series and the transition between the two always made me ask "what's gonna happen next?" Showcasing really how Atom Eve has grown as a character and talked Angstorm down from his evil ways. It gave readers (including me) a bit of conclusion for both the Invincibles and also Angstorm. As well as some future stories to look forward to!
The artwork in this issue is top notch (as usual). It has all the perfect mixture of colors, and Invincible styled gore, that makes this a usual awesome issue!
The Bad
No complaints, I really liked this issue.
The Verdict
INVINCIBLE'S story continues! Overall 5 out of 5.
