    Invincible issue #1 Review

Invincible is another comic book series by the brilliant mind of Robert Kirkman. I love Robert's The Walking Dead series as well. Invincible is the story of Mark Grayson aka Invincible. He's your normal high school kid with a job and likes girls. The only thing abnormal about him is his father: Omni-Man. Omni-Man is the most powerful superhero on Earth. Mark is starting to develop his father's powers such as throwing at super speed, lifting cars and flying.

There are three things that make this issue earn five stars.

    1. Introduction of the main characters
    2. Mark getting his superhero name Invincible (that part is so well done)
    3. Introduction of Titan (who will most likely become one of Invincible's strongest foes)

For anyone who is a fan of superheroes or Robert Kirkman, I'd highly recommend picking up Invincible. Great job again Kirkman!

P.S. Buy the compendiums. There is 47 issues in each one.

The beginning of a new age of hero. 0

Intrigued by the leisurely careful story telling, cape/cowl model that examined the everyday battles of Mark Grayson aka Invincible, in & out of his spandex. Series creator Robert Kirkman writes a simple beginning showcasing the origins of Grayson developing his superpowers. No cliffhangers or shocking tragedy here, a nice standalone story showing our good-hearted protagonist with a friendly moral compass and some interesting supporting characters that will all showcase, lead, grow, matur...
