Following 'Infinity,' the House of Ideas is bringing the Inhumans back into the picture and in a big way. 'Inhumanity' will be all about Terrigen Mists being released on Earth and because of that, millions of people (Inhuman descendants) will develop new powers (just like when Crossbones got heat vision over in THUNDERBOLTS). The primary book surrounding the event will be INHUMAN and it'll be written by Matt Fraction (HAWKEYE, FANTASTIC FOUR). Fraction spoke to Entertainment Weekly a bit about the event. “We’re telling science-fiction stories, but really it’s about race, gender, sexual equality. It’s a very relevant, pertinent metaphor.”

Hello there, Nighrcrawler.

Axel Alonso, the Editor-in-Chief at Marvel Comics, compared the event to Game of Thrones, saying the book will be about the Inhuman society growing and then breaking apart into various fractions. Marvel promises the impact of this event will last awhile and, according to Fraction, it'll apparently lure everyone into the mix. “There is a secret superhero kingdom, and you might belong there. What do you do? And what does Iron Man do? We’re turning the entire Marvel universe into a potential battlefield. And regular people are in the middle.”

'Inhumanity' will begin this December.

Wolverine getting a new look? what? with no blue? WHERE'S THE BLUE!? WHERE DA SHOULDER SLASHES AT!? who does Wolvie think he is Luke Cage!? In all seriousness im glad he's getting a universal look instead of his x-men members costume since he's in so many books. Im also glad James(Winter Soldier) is front and center too.

What's Yondu doing there? (Other than tying into the upcoming GotG film).

That sounds kinda interesting, but I worry about these spoilers coming out of post-event previews.

I like how Angela and the blue guy with the red mohawk are featured so prominently because they are going to most likely be in the Guardians of the Galaxy movie. Also Winter Soldier.

It does suck there is another event but I then again this is nothing new from Marvel and I think I would rather have 3 company wide events. Then a bunch of mini crossovers like DC is doing right now.

Wolverine looks lame

#25 Posted by Perfect 10 (980 posts) - - Show Bio

looks awesome. they are really using my girl Angela, love it! i have longed for an inhuman's ongoing so YEAH! and silver surfer and is that Yondu?! well he will be in the guardians movie so makes since to bring him back. so save for wolverine and iron man (who are waay over used) i am excited

#26 Posted by PunyParker (8995 posts) - - Show Bio

@jonny_anonymous: HA!(says the Peter Parker fan).....Wait,maybe it's another missunderstanding(says the realistic guy)

Send this to Wacker, maybe we will have Peter sooner.

@krspacet: i just caught that. i was too distracted by angela and the inhumans. he looks to be dressed very "heavenly". are those some kind of priest robes or is he going to be some kind of angel (angela is an angel) sent to earth and that will explain how he's "alive"

Wolverine's new costume looks good.

Don't care about anything in that article/picture except for the fact that Bucky is present.

#31 Edited by johnkmccubbin91 (3486 posts) - - Show Bio

Not another event. Why so many in one year?

#32 Edited by TheIncredibleSuperHulk8642 (1975 posts) - - Show Bio

UGHHHH another event that I will have to buy because I'm an idiot for these kinds of thing's my question is if Inhumans will be an ongoing or a mini. but if Fear Itself has shown us anything it's that Fraction is terrible at event's.

#34 Posted by SolthesunGod (278 posts) - - Show Bio

I was very excited about the possibility of an Inhumans series until I saw this. It just seems like a rip off of the X-Men. Between this and Uncanny Avengers I don't understand why marvel is trying to assassinate one of their most popular franchises by taking away everything unique about it.

Is Marvel seriously doing three company-wide events in one year?

If it sells....

#36 Edited by Boogiepop (43 posts) - - Show Bio

Based on this promo art, the Inhumans don't have much to do with this, since there's only 2 of them even in the art, and they're off to the side of the promo. It's another Iron Man and Wolverine event lol. (With Angela because they think people care about her)

Marvel needs to just come out with a monthly title called "MARVEL EVENTS". It would make things just so much easier, and people wouldn't complain. They'd buy ir or not.

And it indeed does sale, Marvel isn't going to stop making events that rake in cash because a few people b*tch about events on the internet (though since it DOES sale, those same people will undoubtedly by it anyway)

Personally, I couldn't care less about Infinity, nor anything that spawns (pun intended with Angela) from it.

If only most of the people who complain about events, actually spoke with their wallets

I've been collecting a lot of Marvel since Marvel NOW! started. Before that, all I had really read were the big events from Avengers Disassembled onwards, some 90s X-Men stories and Planet Hulk.

As a result of this, I have no idea what the words Inhumans, Terrigen Mists or Crossbones mean. This is all flying straight over my head, but the roster of characters and the name Matt Fraction have made me impossibly excited!

#44 Edited by Dark_Guyver (2295 posts) - - Show Bio

Does this mean Parker will be back as ASM. Can I start buying Marvel again in December!?!?

#46 Posted by cameron83 (6696 posts) - - Show Bio

HM....VERY Interesting.

I have to learn more about it after I get Infinity.

#47 Posted by cameron83 (6696 posts) - - Show Bio

1. NIGHTCRAWLER!!!!!

2. Wolverines look is drop-dead gorgeous.

3. It seems Angela is more involved than I thought

4. Also cool seeing that guy from Gotg

#48 Posted by kid Apollo (709 posts) - - Show Bio

@crashbang: the Inhumans are a subspecies of human that had genetic modifications and were set apart from the rest of humanity, the Terrigen Mists were what caused their special powers and abilities. and Crossbones is a Captain America villain and subordinate of the Red Skull

i was thiiiiiis close to commenting on Wolverines new costume, but NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHTCRAWLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

#49 Posted by dagmar_merrill (6866 posts) - - Show Bio

Unlike an of the other recent Marvel events this one actually interests me. I may get it.

#50 Posted by kriminal (643 posts) - - Show Bio

hell ya i like events personally sounds like a good idea. peter parker, winter soldier, night crawler, thor.

the lack of captain america isnt welcoming though. and having wolverine and iron man means theyll likely dominate the book
